At Classic Boatworks we are dedicated to preserving the British boating heritage through careful, detailed restorations of boats up to 50 feet constructed of traditional woods such as mahogany, iroko and oak. In addition to conservation work the yard specialises in electric propulsion and has returned many Victorian and Edwardian launches to their original power plants while also supplying electric or hybrid solutions for more contemporary private and public boating projects. The yard is situated in deepest Norfolk, some miles from Norwich and close to the beautiful cruising grounds of the Norfolk Broads. Many of our regular customers hail from further afield with the winter storage premises hosting boats of all sizes from the Thames, the Dee and the Lake District.
